You will work with an experienced team of project manager, softwareengineers, UI designers, QA in global and local projects to develop and deployNuance’s state-of-the-art speech solution onto automotive and mobile platforms.You will contribute as an expert in speech science to design the system andoptimize its performance. You will also work closely with Product Manager andR&D department in improving the quality of Nuance’s product and solution.
Representative tasks will include:
• Design, implementation, evaluation, optimization of ASR/TTS solutions for automotive applications
• Work with application development engineers and QA teams within the scope of customer projects to realize the project deliverables
• Provide on-site support to customer in integration and testing stage
• Gather problem reports and do analysis on the found issues and follow up with Nuance’s project team and R&D team to get them fixed or improved
Number of Years of Work Experience: 5
Required Skills:
· Strong academic background in digital/audio signal processing, speech recognition and/or text to speech
· Good knowledge/experience of C/C++ programming language and Matlab
· Working knowledge of Scripting Skills (Python or Perl)
· Excellent communication skill in English (written and spoken)
· Good customer facing experience
· Can work innovatively to solve problems
Preferred Skills:
· Embedded software development experience
Education:
· Masters or above in Computer/Electrical Engineering
