As part of the worldwideprofessional services organization, you will work with peers in Shanghai and otherprofessional service team in speech projects. You will take the responsiblity of tool development and datageneration work in various state-of-the-art speech uses cases.
Representative tasks will include:
- Development of software tools to advance embedded speech application development (VDE, NLU, MP3 etc.)
- Development of software tools to advance Nuance embedded professional services (NLU, Engine tuning, data collection, etc.)
- Development of software tools for specific embedded professional services projects
- Responsible for data generation tasks using the developed tools
- Maintenance of software tools and technical support to global team members
- Collect feedbacks from projects and team members to improve tools or propose new solutions
Number of Years of Work Experience: 5
Required Skills:
Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, both written and spoken
- Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, C/C++
- Patience and carefulness in data collection, analysis and generation work
- Good communication and documentation skills
- Experience in data collection and batch generation
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge and experience in language understanding
- Knowledge and experience of ASR and/or TTS
Education:
Bachelor or above degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering or equivalent
